Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Miami Beach (Onsite)
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $52,000–$62,400 (Hourly ~$25–$30) + Annual Holiday Bonus ($1,000–$2,000)
A fast‑paced hospitality company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist due to an unexpected vacancy. This is an onsite position within a small, collaborative accounting team in a newly remodeled, quiet workspace. Leadership is known for being supportive, flexible with appointments, and committed to long‑term employee development.
What You’ll Do- Daily payment reconciliation & cash balancing
- Post payments, process deposits, and manage AR entries
- Invoice employees for benefits
- Handle donation request tracking, letters, and gift card activations
- Assist with occasional AP tasks
- Prepare journal entries and maintain organized documentation
- Support team during peak season (January)
- 5+ years AR/accounting experience
- Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas)
- Quick Books preferred
- Detail‑oriented, organized, calm, and professional
- Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred (not required)
- Clear handwriting and ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment
- Stable organization with long‑tenured team members
- Clear path for expanded responsibilities
