Staff Accountant

Title: Staff Accountant
Salary Range: $52,000 – $65,000 annually
Location: Miami Beach, FL. (On-Site)

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Daily reconciliation of payments
• Full-cycle accounting for multiple accounts
• Process Accounts Payable (very detailed process with multiple approvals)
• Process Accounts Receivable
• Research discrepancies
• Assist with month end close and preparation of financial statements
• Handling donation requests:
  Track requests, approvals/denials, Prepare letters, Activate gift cards (when approved), Maintain weekly logs, etc.
• Handling journal entries

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• Accounting experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is a plus
• Familiarity with Restaurant 365, Quick Books, Xero or other large ERPs.
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting or AP/AR experience
• Excel:
  Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
