Accounts Payable Specialist (Hospitality Industry)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior hotel or hospitality accounting experience and strong knowledge of Birch Street.
Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain AP records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and AP reporting.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries.
- Utilize Birch Street and accounting systems to manage purchasing and accounts payable functions
