Staff Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for an entertainment organization in Miami, Florida.
Record and review journal entries to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring transactions are processed correctly and on schedule.
Perform bank and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items promptly.
Assist with month-end close by preparing account analyses, supporting documentation, and financial summaries.
Produce routine financial reports and help verify the completeness and reliability of accounting data.
Support tax-related activities, including sales tax tracking, corporate tax preparation support, and related filings documentation.
Work within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable systems such as Navision, Dynamics GP, or similar ERP platforms to manage accounting transactions.
Contribute to purchasing, billing, and inventory-related accounting processes as needed to support business operations.
