Position OverviewThe Director of Purchasing will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that ensure cost-effectiveness, consistency, and quality across our group. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and expertise in restaurant supply chain management. Familiarity with Restaurant
365 is essential for success.
- Oversee purchasing activities for 10–15 restaurant locations.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts to optimize cost savings and quality.
- Implement and maintain purchasing systems and processes in Restaurant
365. - Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure consistent supply of food, beverage, and operational goods to all units.
- Collaborate with culinary, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business goals.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and delivery standards.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory and control costs while maintaining product availability.

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Experience overseeing purchasing for multi-unit operations (10+ locations preferred).
- Proficiency with Restaurant
365 and strong data analysis skills. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management abilities.
- Proven track record of cost savings and process improvement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
