Responsibilities

  • Drive catering and event revenue through proactive prospecting, solicitation, networking, and relationship building.
  • Respond to all incoming leads with urgency, creativity, and a personalized approach to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and present customized proposals, contracts, and event resumes tailored to client needs and hotel offerings.
  • Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, BEO creation, timelines, and on-site execution.
  • Deliver seamless guest experiences from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
  • Conduct professional site tours showcasing the hotel’s unique venues, including the Arigato Suite, Library, pool deck, and restaurant patio.
  • Partner closely with Food & Beverage, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure flawless execution and cross-departmental alignment.
  • Participate in BEO meetings, GRC, and internal strategy sessions to support communication, forecasting, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and account management within Marriott systems (CI/TY, MARSHA, MRDW).
  • Ensure timely billing, revenue tracking, and completion of post-event processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Ability to perform medium physical activity, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently.
