Overview
Our client in Miami Beach is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of events and programs. Events are central to the organization’s mission, and this role plays a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality experiences for members, partners, and the broader community.
Full Time On-Site
Direct Hire
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events and programs from conception through implementation
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including timelines, vendors, venues, contracts, budgets, and on-site execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, vendors, and stakeholders, including consistent follow-up and communication
- Draft, review, and manage event contracts and agreements
- Track event details to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and expectations are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation for all events and programs
- Support creative event concepts while maintaining strong organizational structure
- Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Proven experience in event planning, programs, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with contracts, vendors, and client communications
- Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with business organizations, chambers of commerce, or nonprofits
- Familiarity with event budgeting and reporting
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven, event-heavy environment
