Elementary School, Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional
St. Patrick Catholic School in Miami Beach, Florida is looking to hire a qualified Fourth Grade Teacher for the 2026-27 school year that is passionate about teaching and who can help students learn and apply the fourth-grade curriculum. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for fourth grade students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
- Florida Department of Education certificate in Elementary or Early Childhood Education, temporary or professional required.
- Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
- Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills, excellent attendance ethics, and high level of professionalism.
- Strong presentation skills in use of instructional technologies such as interactive boards, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, digital grade books, and the student/parent online portals.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Must have knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
- Must have a professional appearance and demeanor, including the dress code.
