St. Patrick Catholic School in Miami Beach, Florida has an opening for a qualified full-time Middle School Language Arts Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The candidate must be a dedicated, energetic, dynamic, and innovative professional with the ability to develop creative lesson plans that engages all learners and cultivates critical thinking skills. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Middle School ELA students.

The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

• BS/BA Degree in Education, or English/Language Arts.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Language Arts; temporary or professional required.
• Must obtain catechetical certification from Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
• Strong presentation skills use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  Powerpoint a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.

In addition to the eligibility requirements indicated in the Archdiocese of Miami Policy "Creating and Maintaining a Safe Environment for Children and Vulnerable Adults", the selected candidate must undergo a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse and be granted a determination of eligibility as a condition of employment.
