PositionValet Attendant – Ritz Carlton, South Beach – $11/hr + tips
Responsibilities- Proactively resolve client requests and concerns efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist guests with directions.
- Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to all customers.
- Carefully inspect every vehicle before parking it, noting and reporting any findings.
- Strictly observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
- Arrive on time for every shift and be ready to work.
- Maintain a clean and complete uniform throughout the shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation.
- Previous experience as a Valet Attendant.
- Valid state driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus.
- Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
- Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co‑workers.
- Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
- Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
- Occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Remain alert and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
