Finance Associate

Our client is an SEC‑registered asset management firm founded in 2019, specializing in complex, asset‑backed and litigation‑driven investment strategies. The firm serves as Investment Manager to multiple litigation finance investment vehicles and operates with institutional standards in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment. The team is highly experienced, lean, and deeply analytical.

The firm is seeking a Finance Analyst / Associate to join its Miami Beach office. This role is ideal for candidates coming out of Investment Banking or Private Equity who want to remain highly technical and close to investments. The core need is a true finance / investment analyst with exceptional financial modeling skills and comfort working across large datasets, accounting processes, and portfolio‑level analysis.

This is a hands‑on role with significant exposure to financial modeling, investment analysis, and fund‑level operations.

• Build and maintain financial and operating models from scratch
• Perform DCF, LBO, M&A, and SOTP analyses
• Support portfolio and investment teams with detailed analytical work
• Conduct broader financial and performance analysis across investment vehicles
• Work with large, complex datasets to support investment decision‑making
• Assist with month‑end close and NAV processes
• Support reconciliations and accounting‑related initiatives
• Coordinate with fund administrators on reporting and data accuracy
• Provide analytical support related to fund performance and portfolio activity
• Assist with portfolio management–related work
• Support investment teams with ad hoc financial and data‑driven projects
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and institutional‑quality outputs across all analyses

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience in:
  Investment Banking, Private Equity, Litigation Finance, Credit or Structured Finance
• Asset Management or similar analytical roles
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling is a core requirement)
• Strong experience creating models independently (not templated‑only work)
• Comfort working with large datasets
• Accounting exposure, including month‑end, NAVs, and reconciliations
• Experience supporting portfolio or investment teams
• Highly detail‑oriented, analytical, and intellectually curious
