Senior Credit & Risk Professional

Our client is seeking a highly experienced credit professional to join our team in a senior-level role focused on portfolio oversight, loan monitoring, and risk management across complex credit investments. This position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in credit analysis and ongoing portfolio surveillance, with the ability to assess risk across a broad range of transactions and structures.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong institutional credit background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and experience managing risk within dynamic investment environments.

• Oversee ongoing loan monitoring and portfolio surveillance activities
• Assess and manage credit risk across a diverse portfolio of investments
• Perform detailed credit analysis, underwriting review, and risk assessments
• Monitor covenant compliance, borrower performance, and portfolio trends
• Partner with internal investment teams on portfolio strategy and risk mitigation
• Prepare investment memos, portfolio updates, and risk reporting materials
• Evaluate transaction structures and identify potential areas of concern or opportunity
• Support senior leadership with portfolio management and strategic decision-making

• 10+ years of credit experience within investment management, private credit, banking, or related financial institutions
• Strong background in loan monitoring and portfolio oversight
• Extensive risk management experience across credit products and investment structures
  
  Deep understanding of credit fundamentals, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management
• Experience working across complex transactions and investment portfolios
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Valuation experience is a plus
• Exposure to structured credit, private investments, or alternative asset management environments preferred
