• Reviews patient admission details within specified time frames and assesses the appropriate level of care based on hospital criteria.
• Secures necessary services and advocates for patients, families, and the hospital regarding limited resources throughout the care process.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and offers guidance during patient care discussions.
• Demonstrates advanced expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as nursing care for patients within the unit.
• Conducts thorough patient interviews and completes comprehensive medical histories and physical exams within 24 hours of admission.
• Documents all relevant patient information, including history, physical examination, assessment, and treatment plan, in accordance with unit policies and standards.
• Initiates referrals and collaborates with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care management.

• State of Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License.
• ACLS Certification; CPR certification required.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Master of Science in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as an APRN.
