We are looking for a Event Sales & Services Manager to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach
.

Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean.

Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel.

Job Description

Under the general guidance of the Director of Special Events, the Event Sales and Services Manager will be the driving force behind unforgettable events that reflect Ennismore’s distinctive lifestyle brands. You’ll own the full journey—from selling inspired event concepts to delivering beautifully executed experiences—balancing commercial success with creative, guest-first thinking. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-led hospitality environment and understands that no two events (or clients) should feel the same while delivering a world-class level consistent with the Delano legacy.

YOUR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute social, corporate, and special events including conferences, buyouts, and VIP experiences
  • Act as liaison between hotel and meeting planner to ensure a successful event. This includes obtaining rooming lists, establishing billing, overseeing group room blocks, welcoming VIP's, overseeing amenity requests, handling on site event logistics, coordinating outside vendors, and enforcing the contract
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Group Sales, F&B, Operations, Rooms, Guest Experience, and Marketing teams to ensure flawless execution
  • Create detailed event orders, timelines, floor plans, and run-of-show documents
  • Write resumes for each group giving the hotel departments an overview and schedule of the conference and its objective, details of the meeting agenda, AV requirements, VIP's, billing arrangements and amenity requests
  • Compile any cancellation/attrition charges for groups and/or events
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as directed
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, billing, and post-event reconciliation
  • Work with the Director of Special Events to generate an accurate monthly forecast of group food and beverage revenue associated with all events
  • Source and manage vendors while maintaining brand and service standards
  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring exceptional service, guest satisfaction, and issue resolution
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in a collaborative, service-driven environment
  • Oversee adherence to safety protocols, licensing, compliance requirements, and brand standards
  • We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service to support the overall guest experience
  • We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospitality event management (hotel, resort, venue, or luxury brand preferred) with focus on group and event business
  • Strong understanding of food & beverage operations and service standards
  • Proficiency in Opera, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and event management platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, must be able to read, write, speak an present in English professionally
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced, extended-hour environments
  • Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods; must be able to bend, lift, and move materials as required
