SUMMARY
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles and assisting guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
COMPENSATION- Hourly base pay: $17 per hour plus $8–$10 per hour in tips.
May include AM/PM shifts.

- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients, including greeting guests within five feet.
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously.
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage; open vehicle and hotel doors.
- Provide directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; give information about facilities and area attractions.
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested; shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests before issuing keys.
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. - Legal requirements:
At least 18 years old; must pass criminal background and drug screen. - Experience:
One month of related experience or training. - Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
Read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; present information to guests and colleagues; basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division up to 100); understand 24‑hour and military time; operate a manual transmission; perform parallel parking.
- Must regularly talk or hear; sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus.
- Lifting: up to 100 lbs occasionally; up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 20 lbs constantly.
- Work outdoors for extended periods; exposure to extreme heat and cold weather.
- Travel: up to 5%.
