Role Overview

As a Concierge at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, you will answer questions, provide directions, and make detailed reservations or recommendations. The role requires knowledge of hotel services, local events, venues, and transportation options, and offers the opportunity to engage in casual conversation and handle special requests.

• Ensure guest requests are handled in a timely manner.
• Be fully knowledgeable of hotel facilities.
• Be proactive; take initiative to update files and create new ones.
• Advise guests of points of interest in the surrounding area, quickly and efficiently orient guests, and provide directions and in-depth recommendations.
• Confirm bookings for theater, tours, and other activities.
• Develop an extensive local network to better and faster serve guests.
• Be a team player; good communication with teammates is imperative.
• Adapt to changes in job requirements.
• Comfortable in a demanding, high‑end environment and able to work under pressure.
• Work with integrity; respect all team members.
• Continuously increase knowledge and update information.
• Be pleasant and courteous at all times.
• Be well organized and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills.
• Communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

• Minimum of two years concierge operations experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual highly desirable.
• High school education or equivalent; college degree preferred.
