Job Overview
Guest Service Associate – responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests, including parking and valet duties, luggage assistance, directions, and guest inquiries.
Compensation & ScheduleHourly base pay $12.00 per hour plus $5–$15 per hour in tips. Shift schedule may include AM/PM shifts.

Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Greet guests within five feet, using proper salutation of the day and guest last names.
- Practice phone etiquette and take breaks in designated areas when not completing tasks.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously.
- Assist guests with bell services, luggage storage, opening vehicle and hotel doors.
- Provide directions, taxi, reservation assistance, and information on facility amenities and local attractions.
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
- Shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates, retrieval procedures, and issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys.
- Maintain accurate ticketing information, including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license (state of employment) or commutable proximity to state.
- At least one month of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles.
- Proficient in reading and writing standard English.
- Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with U.S. currency, including understanding of 24‑hour time, rates, and time-related calculations.
- Manual transmission operation desirable; parallel parking ability.
- Routine job with adherence to established procedures.
- Decisions made within departmental guidelines.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, running, carrying up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, 20 lbs constant. Outdoor work, exposure to weather, and occasional travel up to 5%.
