Role Description

The Front Desk Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami Beach, FL. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring a smooth and professional front desk experience at all times. Daily tasks include answering phones, responding to guest inquiries, handling reservations and room assignments, processing payments, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.

Front Desk Staff will also assist with concierge-style support, such as providing local information, resolving guest concerns, and promoting hotel amenities and services. The position requires consistent adherence to company policies, accurate record-keeping, and a courteous, service-focused approach to every guest interaction. Assist in maintaining the lobby and front desk areas in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.

Restock and maintain the hotel market area, ensuring products and supplies are neatly displayed and readily available. Provide support with daily hotel operations and assist various departments as needed. Help ensure operational needs are addressed efficiently to support smooth hotel operations. Assist with general tasks and guest service needs as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Proficiency in Receptionist Duties and Phone Etiquette for managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
  • Computer Literacy, including basic knowledge of reservation systems, email, and standard office applications.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Attention to detail and reliability in handling payments, reports, and guest information.
  • Previous front desk, hotel, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
