Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper - Formal Private Residence (Miami Beach, FL)
Private residence in Miami Beach seeks a live-out housekeeper with experience in formal households. This is a full-time, permanent position working five days per week. Schedule is as follows (with flexibility): the candidate must be flexible to work either 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and be available to work weekends on rotation with the other housekeeper.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a private formal residence, be able to work in a non-intrusive manner, possess a high level of integrity, and exhibit exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform general daily housekeeping and deep cleaning throughout the home, meeting and exceeding formal household standards.
• Handle all aspects of laundry, ironing, and steam ironing: hand washing fine garments and clothing, men's dress shirts, table linens, and bath towels.
• Launder and steam iron bed sheets, pillowcases, and duvets. Maintain meticulous closet organization throughout the house as per instructions.
• Support the chef by washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen periodically throughout the shift, including breakdown and cleaning at the end of the shift.
• Pack and unpack clothes from travel with detailed organization.
• Care for animals: tidy their spaces, feed them, and maintain litter areas.
• Provide end-of-day housekeeping services, refresh spaces, turn on lighting, organize, and restock items as needed.
• Handle fine dishware and antique glassware with care; polish silver when needed. Provide service for special events, formal dining, holidays, and family gatherings.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in formal private homes in a similar role.
• Punctual and dedicated.
• Knowledge of fine linens, designer clothing, and fabrics. Ability to use a sewing machine for light alterations or minor repairs is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting high standards without immediate supervision.
• Proficient at ironing and using a steam iron.
• Experience in formal dining service, table settings, and napkin folding.
• Proactive with keen attention to detail, anticipating the principals' needs.
• Active and agile, able to move easily and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Verifiable references and a comprehensive background check are required.
• Ability to read and write in English, with strong verbal communication skills.
• Must be reliable and have dependable transportation to and from work.
• Valid driver's license and valid U.S. work authorization.

Compensation & Benefits: $30 to $35/hour, paid time off, sick pay, overtime and holiday pay, health insurance premium reimbursement. Daily lunches provided by chef.
