We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Miami, FL. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications through thorough inspection and testing processes.

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 3-6 months, possibly longer.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
  • Use measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product quality.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  • Identify and report any defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection processes.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and software.
Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a manufacturing environment.

  • This position requires the regular use of inspection equipment
  • Prolonged periods working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent exposure to loud/moderate noise
  • Ability to use manual dexterity and handle small components
Position Type and Work Schedule

This is a contract position. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.

Expected Travel

This position may require up to 5% travel.
