Hotel Valet Cashier - Fontainebleau Miami

Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner.

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients.
• Acknowledge and greet guests immediately while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit, or direct billing while accurately categorizing tickets for audit purposes.
• Collect and reconcile revenue accurately and furnish payment receipts.
• Complete accurate and timely shift reports and follow all standard operating procedures related to cash banks.
• Operate equipment, including registers, gates and credit card machines.
• Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged.
• Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide with 10’s, 100’s and American money units.
• Ability to understand 24‑hour and military time systems, rates applicable to time passed and 10’s and 100’s.
• Effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees.

The hourly base pay range for this position is $16 per hour.
