Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue while providing exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers and clients.
- Acknowledge and greet guests immediately while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit, or direct billing while accurately categorizing tickets for audit purposes.
- Collect and reconcile revenue accurately and furnish payment receipts.
- Complete accurate and timely shift reports and follow all standard operating procedures related to cash banks.
- Operate equipment, including registers, gates and credit card machines.
- Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide with 10’s, 100’s and American money units.
- Ability to understand 24‑hour and military time systems, rates applicable to time passed and 10’s and 100’s.
- Effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees.

CompensationThe hourly base pay range for this position is $16 per hour.
