Assistant Store Manager – Luxury Retail | Bal Harbour, FL

A luxury contemporary fashion brand is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and deliver an elevated client experience within a high-volume retail environment in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) partners closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, operational excellence, and team development. This individual will lead by example through exceptional customer service, strong leadership, and a hands‑on approach to business operations. The ASM is expected to contribute significantly to store sales, support team performance, and help cultivate a client-focused selling culture.

Compensation

The anticipated Compensation for this position is up to 90K per year + Commission & Bonus, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall market considerations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the store in achieving overall sales performance objectives
  • Deliver and model elevated customer service standards while fostering long‑term client relationships through clienteling and client book management
  • Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and retaining top retail talent
  • Support performance management and development of store associates
  • Maintain luxury visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation
  • Assist with daily operational procedures, including opening/closing responsibilities, cash handling, reporting, and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and loss prevention procedures
  • Help maintain appropriate floor coverage and operational efficiency in a fast‑paced retail environment
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results‑driven team culture
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience within luxury or contemporary retail
  • Strong understanding of specialty retail operations, visual merchandising, and business development
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and motivate teams to achieve goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency in retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and email communication
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Passion for luxury retail, styling, and client experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 35 pounds
  • Comfortable using ladders and working on the sales floor for extended periods
