Hotel Director of Sales

A national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Director of Sales with Miami Beach Hotel experience to lead its Sales Team in driving Sales, ADR, and occupancy. This oceanfront hotel is a historic property seeking a Sales Leader. The ideal candidate will possess a strong tenure at full-service properties. We are looking for a Hotel Ambassador and Team Builder to establish a high level of rapport with clients.

• Responsible for the overall success of the Sales team to maximize total revenue and ensure sales goals are met and exceeded
• Establish a client base and cultivate relationships, building business, and provide a stable and positive work environment for the team
• Spend a significant amount of time out of the hotel surveying market and comp set/neighboring hotels, researching new clients/opportunities, and knowing the market and its environment
• Observe local trends in the market
• Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads.
• Supporting and Developing the Sales Managers

• Minimum 7 years of Sales Experience
• Experience in Budget Preparation, Forecasting, Revenue Generation, Analytics, Coaching, and management of Sales Teams
• Any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered, or other sales experience
• Past hotel Director of Sales experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs, and resolve complaints
• Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections
• Detail-oriented.

• Salary - $80,000 to $90,000
