The 171‑room hotel will feature distinct food and beverage concepts, preserve its iconic walk‑in pool, and add a new pool on an amenity deck overlooking the ocean. As the brand’s flagship location, Delano Miami Beach will re‑establish the brand as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International, is currently renovating the iconic hotel to support this vision.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Security Officer to join the re‑opening of Delano Miami Beach. The Security Officer will work under the Assistant Director of Security to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees through patrols, monitoring, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Patrol the outside and inside perimeter of the property, reporting potential safety issues to the Assistant Director of Security.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
- Anticipate potential problems, react to disturbances, and enforce prohibited conduct policies.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Prepare written reports detailing incidents and activities.
- Operate alarm systems, video cameras, and emergency detection equipment.
- Perform first aid or CPR when required.
- Provide excellent customer service in line with hospitality standards.
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
- Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Protect the company’s assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, and accident investigations.
- Assist with hospitality duties as required, recognizing that the security role may include lateral service to enhance guest experience.
