This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property, offices, amenities, and/or parking areas.
- Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Assist with visitor registration, contractor check‑in, delivery coordination, and maintenance of access logs and other security‑related documentation according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report security‑related concerns.
- Must have 2+ years of security‑related experience.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
