Overnight Security Officer

Collins Court South Beach, part of the Collins Hotel collection in Miami Beach, is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to help keep our guests, staff, and property safe during late-night hours. In this guest-focused role, you will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor cameras and access points, respond to noise and safety concerns, and document incidents. You'll enforce property policies with professionalism, support the front desk with guest issues, and assist in emergencies.

This position is ideal for reliable, observant team players who value hospitality, discretion, and maintaining a calm, welcoming environment overnight.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior hotel areas during overnight shifts
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access points
• Respond to guest safety, noise, and disturbance complaints
• Enforce hotel policies and house rules with professionalism
• Document incidents, observations, and security reports
• Support front desk with guest issues and key control
• Escort staff or guests when needed for safety
• Perform basic inspections of doors, locks, and lighting
• Assist with emergency situations and evacuations
• Collaborate with management to improve security procedures
