Job Overview

Lux Handyman is one of Miami’s premier service providers for residential and commercial maintenance and repair work. Our skilled team of handymen specializes in a variety of trade services, including interior and exterior repairs, preventative maintenance, and odd jobs. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, professionalism, and quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold Lux Handyman’s commitment to professionalism and high-quality service.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot general maintenance issues.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (certification preferred).
• Identify and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Properly manage and account for company credit card and receipts.
• Perform painting, staining, varnishing, caulking, grouting, and plastering.
• Install, repair, and replace drywall, sheetrock, and general hardware (hinges, locks, door handles, etc.).
• Repair electrical components (light fixtures, transformers, dimmers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (leaks, valves, clogs, drains, etc.).
• Perform toilet repairs (flappers, fill valves, ballcocks, etc.).
• Conduct basic carpentry work as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests from property managers.
• Document completed work, including photos and reports, via TRACK (work orders)
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• HVAC license required.
• Previous experience in hotel or property management maintenance is a plus.
• Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Physically capable of:
  • Standing for long periods and reaching overhead.
  • Stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting as needed.
  • Climbing ladders and working at heights.
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
