Hotel Maintenance Technician - AQUA Hotel & Suites

Job Overview

Yurbban Hospitality Group is hiring a Hotel Maintenance Technician for our Miami South Beach location.

• Review and respond to the maintenance log each day, ensuring all systems are operational for the shift.
• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guest rooms, common areas, housekeeping, and front‑desk departments promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify needed maintenance and coordinate repairs with other departments.
• Assist with long‑term projects such as room renovations or system upgrades, applying technical expertise to ensure project success.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for accurate reporting.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Be on call for urgent maintenance issues outside regular working hours.

• Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Problem‑solving skills with a proactive attitude.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including on‑call emergencies.
• Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Certification in maintenance‑related fields is a plus.

Full availability during mornings and afternoons. An 8‑hour shift may be arranged between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm, with weekend work required.

Prolonged periods of standing and lifting 15 pounds or more.
