OverviewMate / Deckhand
We are seeking motivated Deckhands and Mates to support the safe operation and maintenance of private vessels. You’ll work closely with the captain and crew, assisting in all aspects of deck operations and guest service.
Responsibilities- Handle lines, fenders, and docking procedures
- Maintain the exterior of the vessel to a high standard (washing, detailing, polishing)
- Perform general deck maintenance and light repairs as directed
- Assist with anchoring, tender operations, and guest activities
- Support the captain and stewardess in delivering a seamless guest experience
- Prior yacht or maritime experience preferred
- STCW
- Strong deck skills and familiarity with boating operations
- Written, verifiable references from previous marine roles
- Must pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and based in South Florida/Miami
- Reliable personal transportation and flexible availability for short-notice assignments
