Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California.
Homewood is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver to join the Parking & Transportation Department.
Job SummaryNon-CDL Van Drivers are responsible for safely transporting guests and employees while providing professional, reliable, and courteous guest service.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely transports guests and employees while maintaining all required daily records and documentation, including driver check-out sheets, passenger counts, and fueling records. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and California Highway Patrol (CHP) requirements. Communicate effectively with all departments, including the Director of Base Operations, using phone, text, email, two-way radio, and in-person communication.
Occasionally may be required to transport staff or guests off site as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Valid Class C Driver License and a driving record meeting the standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier. Previous experience in passenger transportation, shuttle driving, or a similar role is preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Prior ski resort or hospitality experience preferred. 18 years of age or older.
Additional RequirementsFlexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $22.60-$26 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
