Responsibilities

Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects from concept to completion.

Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and technical indicators to calculate total project cost.

Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to gather data for estimates.

Preparing and presenting budget proposals to clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.

Participating in bid proposals, including preparing bid packages and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

Keeping track of latest industry trends, pricing, and new materials.

Working closely with project managers and team members to integrate cost considerations.

Reviewing project progress and updating estimates as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years experience in cost estimation in engineering or construction industry.

Proficiency in BIM and estimation software.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Excellent analytical skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Exceptional communication skills.

Detail-oriented mindset with focus on accuracy and quality.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Professional certification in cost estimation or project management is an added advantage.
