Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly

The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.
The Dental Assistant role is essential to the efficiency of the dental team, combining clinical, technical, and interpersonal responsibilities. The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; assists during procedures by passing instruments and supporting the dentist; ensures infection control protocols are followed; and performs duties in compliance with the dental practice act. This position plays a vital role in enhancing patient care and overall office operations.

- Assist dentist with procedures; prepare rooms, patients, instruments, and materials
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Record medical histories, vitals, and update charts
- Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and provide chairside support
- Deliver post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education
- Take impressions and assist with specialty procedures
- Handle scheduling, billing, phones, and patient coordination
- Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and order supplies
- Keep clinical and office areas organized and efficient
- Participate in continuing education and training
- Support team operations and perform additional duties as needed
- Current certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- 2 years of experience working as a dental assistant
- Access to a well maintained vehicle, valid auto insurance, and a current and valid Driver's License
