Part-Time Bilingual Human Resources Assistant
Location:
On-site ONLY
Schedule:
Part-Time ( 3 days per week) Monday/Wednesday/Friday (8:00am-4:00pm)
Reports To:
HR Manager
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for a professional with prior human resources experience who thrives in a people-focused environment and can communicate effectively in two languages. The assistant will play a key role in supporting employees, maintaining HR records, and assisting with core HR processes.
ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Support
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Support employee lifecycle processes (new hires, status changes, offboarding)
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with benefits administration, time-off tracking, and basic payroll coordination
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
Communication & Bilingual Support
- Serve as a bilingual point of contact for employees and external partners
- Translate basic HR communications, forms, and documents as needed
- Support clear and inclusive communication across diverse employee groups
Administrative & Compliance Support
- Ensure HR files are organized and compliant with company policies
- Assist with preparing HR reports, audits, and internal communications
- Support HR projects related to employee engagement, training, and culture initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Human Resources or HR administrative role
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HR systems experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification coursework or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience supporting a diverse workforce
- Familiarity with basic employment policies and HR best practices
