Salary Range: $17.50 To $27.00 Hourly
About the PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Clerk to join our healthcare team in Miami, FL. This nonexempt, administrative role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys providing essential support to the HR and recruitment functions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with posting job openings, collecting applications, and scheduling interviews for healthcare roles
- Prepare, process, and file new hire paperwork in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR databases
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new staff, ensuring all forms and credentials are complete
- Respond to routine employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and payroll, escalating complex matters to HR management
- Track and record employee attendance, certifications, and required trainings
- Prepare standard HR reports and assist with compliance documentation and audits
- Support benefits administration by distributing materials, collecting forms, and answering general inquiries
- Follow established HR procedures and participate in routine audits to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred - Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative support or HR assistant role, with a focus on recruitment, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
