Driver​/Warehouse Operative

Air Sea Packing Group is an established and successful shipping, storage, and logistics company. We are seeking a full‑time delivery professional to join our team!

In this role you will be responsible for delivering, receiving and transporting furniture, artwork and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports or rail ports. Constantly understanding that you are the face of the company and remaining keenly aware that customer service is a top priority is required!

• Drive the truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, furniture or artwork.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Obey all traffic regulations from City, State and Federal Laws.
• Keep record of materials and products transported.
• Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
• Clean, inspect and service vehicle.
• Operate equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Obtain customer signature or collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges if needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading truck manually.
• Other duties assigned by management.
• All candidates must be enthusiastic and hardworking with a clean cut, well-groomed appearance and punctual.
• You have at least 2 years of previous commercial truck driving experience.
• You know our city's commercial trucking routes.
• You have at least 2 years of fine furniture handling and moving experience.
• You're flexible to work weekends as needed.
