Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Overview

Our client is a growing hospitality company in Coconut Grove (Miami) looking for an Accountant
. This outstanding business is expanding rapidly and offers an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically with the organization and gain exposure to multiple accounting and finance functions.

Salary/Hourly Rate
: $65k - $72k

The Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. This role also offers exposure to financial planning and analysis while working closely with leadership.

• Perform general accounting duties and daily accounting operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and post journal entries.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with large data sets.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting (required).
