Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and the finance team to maintain records, resolve discrepancies, and uphold our commitment to excellent financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

+ Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

+ Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments.

+ Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.

+ Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.

+ Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

+ Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

+ 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.

+ Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.

+ Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
