Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance, and assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll

+ Review and verify timesheets for accuracy

+ Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions

+ Maintain employee payroll records

+ Process payroll changes, including new hires and terminations

+ Respond to employee payroll questions

+ Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance

+ Reconcile payroll reports and support month-end close

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 1-3 years of payroll or accounting experience

+ Knowledge of payroll laws and compliance regulations

+

Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, etc.) preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Proficient in Excel

+ Ability to handle confidential information professionally
