About the Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity:

As an AP Specialist, you’ll play a key role on the team by supporting the company’s financial operations and managing the full-cycle accounts payable process.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, monthly posting accuracy, and weekly check runs.
• Maintain recurring payment schedules, process emergency payments, void/stop payments as needed, and ensure timely approvals through workflow systems.
• Reconcile vendor statements, review aging reports, and analyze chargeback and bank reports to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor utilities and recurring expenses across properties to ensure bills are received and paid on time.
• Respond to AP inquiries, support special projects, and collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of multi-entity accounts payable experience in a mid-size corporate environment.
• Experience with Sage or Yardi is a plus but not required.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and vendor invoicing.
• High level of discretion, organization, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
