We are seeking a Tax Supervisor to oversee complex tax return preparation and review for corporate, partnership, trust, and high‑net‑worth individual clients. This role includes mentoring junior staff, managing client engagements, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for a variety of entity types.
- Conduct tax research and provide planning recommendations to clients.
- Supervise and mentor 2–4 tax staff/associates, including workload assignment and performance feedback.
- Manage client relationships, billing, and engagement deadlines.
- Assist with responses to tax notices and basic audit support.
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software (CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax, or similar).
- Strong technical knowledge and client communication skills.
