Accounting Clerk

Description

The Accounting Clerk supports the finance and accounting team by performing a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with data entry, processing transactions, and providing general support to ensure smooth daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting systems.

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

+ Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial records.

+ Assist with the preparation of financial reports and summaries.

+ Maintain and organize invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.

+ Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

+ Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff.

+ Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting as needed

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

+ 1+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.

+ Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team environment.
