We are seeking a hands‑on AP & AR Manager to lead and elevate our payables and receivables operations. This role is ideal for a process‑driven accounting professional who thrives in both execution and leadership. You will manage a small team while also serving as a key individual contributor, driving automation, improving accuracy, and building repeatable scalable processes.
Primary Responsibilities- Build and standardize scalable AP and AR processes that reduce client‑specific variability and increase operational efficiency across the organization.
- Improve accuracy, timeliness, and automation across billing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of two AP & AR Specialists, ensuring accountability, quality control, and professional growth.
- Own day‑to‑day execution of complex AP and AR functions, serving as a hands‑on resource and escalation point.
- Leverage Quick Books Online, , and other automation tools to streamline electronic processing and reduce manual work.
- Partner with senior management to document, refine, and implement sustainable internal controls and best practices across multi‑entity and multi‑state clients.
- You have 6+ years of combined Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
- You have at least 1 year of people management experience, leading and developing direct reports.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- You are passionate about automation, electronic workflows, and process optimization.
- You are detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with team leadership.
- You are able to work from our Miami office at least 2 days per week (33127) and do not require relocation assistance.
- Bonus points for: Experience with sales tax processes and filings across multiple states.
- Hybrid Work Model:
Work from Miami, FL 33127 (minimum 2 days per week in‑office following 90‑day onboarding period) - Base salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 + annual bonus potential
