Staff Accountant

Miami Beach, FL | $65,000 per year | Temp-Permanent, Full-Time

Are you an enthusiastic accounting professional looking to grow your career with a reputable organization in the Miami Beach area? We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team and help drive financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities

+ Analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP

+ Support accounts payable and receivable processes

+ Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

+ Prepare and maintain financial reports and schedules

+ Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during audits

+ Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting department

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle Net Suite, or similar)

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
