Staff Accountant

Description

Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our organization. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about accuracy, financial reporting, and supporting a dynamic accounting department. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing timely insights to guide business decisions.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements.

+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

+ Support payroll management and processing.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and answer financial queries.

+ Contribute to accounting controls and process improvements.

+ Assist with audit preparation and documentation.

+ Utilize software such as Microsoft D365, Oracle Net Suite, Quick Books, SAP, SQL, and Workday as needed.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred.

+ Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
