Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant with a rapidly growing entertainment and sports company in the Miami – Fort Lauderdale area. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US corporate and partnership federal and state income tax returns
• Assist in the preparation and filing of consolidated quarterly and annual ASC
  740 tax provision calculations and footnote
• Collect and analyze financial data, tax return supporting schedules, including tax consolidations, tax depreciation, and state apportionment
• Prepare and review quarterly tax estimates and extensions
• Research various tax issues and determine appropriate tax treatment and related tax reporting
• Respond to all tax related notices and bills
• Maintain tax depreciation schedules for various entities
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, and presenting supporting documentation for income and franchise tax audits
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar and ensure all governmental filings are prepared and filed accurately and timely
• Assist with sales tax, property tax and business license issues as necessary

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred
• Active CPA license a plus
• Minimum 3 years of federal and state income tax experience
• Prior public accounting experience a plus
• Experience with One Source preferred
