Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Controller to join one of its apparel clients. This Controller will be responsible for owning all accounting operations, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, month‑end close, and balance sheet accuracy. The role will supervise a small accounting team (Junior Controller, AP, and AR specialists) and work closely with the CEO on accounting execution. Day to day, the Controller will work extensively in SAP, overseeing automated integrations from Shopify and Amazon, managing cash and tax‑related items, and handling ad‑hoc tasks related to insurance and legal.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong attention to detail, comfort working directly in systems, and a team‑oriented, player‑coach mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
• 12-20 years of (GAAP) accounting and reporting management experience
• Experience as a Controller with ownership of accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, bank recs, month- and year-end close)
• Experience supervising a small accounting team
• SAP B1 experience required, with hands‑on ability to navigate the system, pull balance sheets, review accounts, and explain accounting processes live
• Strong experience using Excel and reporting programs
• E-commerce accounting experience within an offline/online DTC retail or wholesale environment
• Comfortable with cash supervision, tax‑related items, insurance, and legal coordination
• Great communications and collaboration skills
• Master’s degree in finance and CPA
