Are you a detail-oriented, highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) looking to join a dynamic and growing accounting firm? We are currently seeking a talented professional to handle complex tax returns, financial statements, and advisory services.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns, including multi-state and international filings.
- Compile, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and applicable reporting standards.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
- Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities, deductions, and credits to minimize tax liabilities.
- Coordinate with the IRS and state tax authorities on audits, notices, and other correspondence on behalf of clients.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and current guidance.
- Support clients throughout the year with quarterly estimated tax payments, projections, and proactive planning.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and compliance with privacy and security regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely and accurate information.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, tax, operations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dedication to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
