Position OverviewThe Bookkeeper plays a central role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the business.
This position is responsible for:
- maintaining Financial Accuracy (Invoices, Bills & Credits)
- supporting leadership with timely and reliable Reporting
This is a hands-on role requiring strong Quick Books expertise, the ability to:
- identify problems
- think critically
- implement solutions independently
The Bookkeeper reports directly to the President and serves as a key point of coordination across the team.
Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping Roles (Quick Books Expertise Required)- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records in Quick Books
- Perform Daily Bank Reconciliation
- Perform Monthly Credit Card Reconciliation
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Payables (invoicing, collections, bill payments)
- Prepare regular financial summaries (Daily & Weekly) for leadership
- Ensure all transactions are properly recorded, documented & filed
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
- Use Slack & Google Workspace:
Docs, Sheets, Drive & Gmail for organization, reporting, and communication - Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Support internal reporting and administrative processes
- Proven experience with Quick Books (high proficiency required)
- Experience in Bookkeeping
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivables
- Accounts Payables
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability (non-negotiable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient English
- Experience in a Small Business environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is a Plus but not required
