We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of a growing logistics and transportation company. This contract role is responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with month‑end close, and supporting daily accounting functions in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close and financial reporting
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- 2+ years of Staff Accountant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP/CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to Doral, FL
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Self‑motivated with a high level of accuracy
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
