** Position Summary*
* The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
** Responsibilities*
* + Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close schedules.
+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
+ Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
+ Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions.
+ Perform inventory and cost accounting analyses and reconciliations.
+ Maintain accounting records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
+ Assist with audits and special projects.
** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 2+ years of accounting experience.
+ Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
+
Experience with Quick Books.
+ Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving abilities.
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Public accounting experience and/or cost accounting experience.
+
Experience with inventory accounting.
+ Manufacturing, distribution, aviation, or inventory-intensive industry experience.
** Compensation*
* Salary Range: $40,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, on-site.
** Pay Details:** $40,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
